SunEthanol has a number of financial partners. These include: VeraSun Energy located in Brookings SD, Battery Ventures in Silicon Valley, CA, Long River Ventures in Amherst, MA, Camros Capital LLC in Cambridge, MA and a small number of private investors.

VeraSun Energy Corporation

VeraSun Energy Corporation, headquartered in Brookings, SD, is a leading producer of renewable fuel. Founded in 2001, the company has more than one billion gallons per year (BGY) of production capacity through 11 operating ethanol production facilities. Six facilities are currently either under construction or development with a combined capacity of 660 million gallons per year (MMGY). Upon completion of the new facilities, VeraSun Energy will have an annual production capacity of approximately 1.75 billion gallons.

Battery Ventures

Battery Ventures employs a thesis-driven, research-based philosophy to pro-actively find compelling people and businesses worldwide. BV believes this approach makes them educated investors capable of identifying and collaborating with high potential management teams in promising markets. BV has the flexibility to work with companies as they move through stages in the life of their business. BV has made over 200 venture capital investments that range from as little as a few hundred thousand dollars in seed and early stage financing, to $50 million or more for late stage/expansion deals.

Long River Ventures

Long River Ventures invests in seed and early stage companies in technology, healthcare, and other related sectors. Formed by a group of experienced entrepreneurs and venture capitalist, Long River is designed and structured to invest smaller amounts of capital with typically initial investment of $500,000 to $1MM. With no geographic restriction, LRV focuses on identifying promising opportunities and entrepreneurs in emerging (or secondary) geographic markets of the Northeast outside the traditional venture markets such as Boston and New York.

Camros Capital, L.L.C., is an early stage investment company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Camros Capital promotes the development of new and innovative technologies having the potential for commercial growth. Aside from financial investments, Camros Capital also helps our portfolio companies succeed by providing broad expertise in technologies and experience growing successful start-up companies.

Camros Capital, L.L.C., was founded by Parviz Tayebati in February of 2007 with a mission to identify innovative technologies at an early stage and to assist in taking these technologies into the market place.
